Hi, My name is Meggan and I am the gifted teacher at Yargo Elementary School. I have been at Yargo since the doors opened in 1999. I am excited about taking this course and look forward to using what I learn with my students.
Meggan, do you teach gifted language arts? I can see how using blogs and web 2.0 stuff would be very interesting and easy if you teach language arts. Oh, the possibilities! Commenting on what was read, a blog for each book, a wiki for the class, collaborate on a paper using the writeboard or google docs, suggests book titles to read, pair kids up by what they like to read, compare and contract characters, and I could go on.
